Mountings and stones
Towering over Cape Town is Table Mountain, one of the world's oldest natural wonders. Its sheer cliffs, wind-swept plateaus, and silhouettes etched against an azure sky have guided our hand in every creation. It is from this silent, immutable majesty that we have drawn our forms: clean lines, geometric structures, pieces that embody the solidity of rock and the lightness of clouds clinging to its peaks.
A natural setting
Cape Town is one of the few places in the world where nature refuses to be tamed. Fynbos, this endemic vegetation unique to the Western Cape, grows in rock crevices, clings to cliffs, and blossoms in the salty Atlantic winds. Giant proteas, silver reeds, wild heathers – all organic, unpredictable, and absolutely unique forms that have fueled our imagination. The Le Cap collection celebrates this sublime imperfection: baroque pearls that are never quite alike, floral shapes that evoke foraging along mountain paths, a beauty that does not seek to be tame.
The Ocean and the Pearls
At the Cape of Storms, where the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans merge in a ballet of opposing currents, water is everywhere – powerful, changing, iridescent. It is this very ocean that has offered us its most beautiful treasures: cultured pearls with creamy reflections, baroque mother-of-pearl with freeform shapes, and seashells polished by years of travel beneath the waves. Each pearl hand-selected for our creations carries within it this memory of the water, this soft, pearlescent light that makes a bride under the Cape sun shine like the ocean's surface at dawn.
