GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Hereinafter referred to as "Atelier Lilac"
And any natural person making a purchase via the website www.atelierlilac.com , hereinafter referred to as "the Customer" .
Article 2 – Purpose
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are intended to define the rights and obligations of the parties in the context of the online sale of products offered by Atelier Lilac on the website www.atelierlilac.com .
Article 3 – Products
The products offered for sale are primarily:
- wedding jewelry
- bridal hair accessories
- back collars
- wedding bags
- garters
- box for the bride
The majority of the products offered are handmade and made to order in the Atelier Lilac workshop.
The photographs and images shown on the website are for illustrative purposes only and are not contractually binding. Due to the handcrafted nature of the products, slight variations may occur.
Article 4 – Product Customization
Many of the Atelier Lilac creations can be customized (length, finishes, adjustments, etc.).
Personalized products:
- cannot be refunded
- can be exchanged according to the conditions set out in these Terms and Conditions
Custom orders cannot be cancelled once manufacturing has begun .
Article 5 – Order
Any order placed on the website www.atelierlilac.com implies full and complete acceptance of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Once the order has been validated and payment made, the Customer receives a confirmation email.
Atelier Lilac reserves the right to refuse any order in the event of a prior dispute with the Client.
Article 6 – Price
Prices are shown in euros.
They are subject to change at any time, but products will be billed based on the rate in effect at the time the order is validated.
Delivery charges are added during order confirmation and vary depending on the selected carrier.
Article 7 – Payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering.
The payment methods accepted on the site are:
- bank card
- Apple Pay
- PayPal
- other methods offered by Shopify
Transactions are secured through Shopify's payment systems.
Article 8 – Manufacturing times
Since the majority of Atelier Lilac creations are handmade, a manufacturing lead time is required.
The average manufacturing time is between:
4 and 12 business days
This timeframe is indicative and may vary depending on the workshop's activity.
Some products may be available in stock and shipped more quickly.
Article 9 – Delivery
Orders are shipped worldwide.
The carriers offered may include:
- Colissimo
- UPS
- FedEx
- Chronopost
Delivery costs are fixed depending on the carrier chosen.
The delivery times indicated by the carriers are indicative.
Atelier Lilac cannot be held responsible for delays attributable to the carrier.
In case of loss, theft or damage occurring during transport, the carrier is responsible.
The customer is advised to check the condition of the package upon receipt.
Article 10 – Right of withdrawal
In accordance with European legislation, the Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the order to exercise their right of withdrawal.
However, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the Consumer Code, this right does not apply to personalized or custom-made products.
Article 11 – Returns and Exchanges
Standard products can be returned within 14 days of receipt.
Personalized products are not refundable but may, depending on the circumstances, be exchanged.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the Customer, except in the case of a non-conforming product or an error attributable to Atelier Lilac.
The products must be returned:
- in their original state
- not worn
- in their original packaging
Article 12 – Refunds
When a refund is accepted, it is made within a maximum of 14 days after receipt of the returned product.
The refund will be issued via the payment method used for the order, unless otherwise agreed with the Customer.
Article 13 – Warranty
Atelier Lilac creations come with a 6-month guarantee from the date of receipt of the product.
This warranty covers manufacturing defects.
Depending on the circumstances, Atelier Lilac may offer:
- a repair
- an exchange of the product
The warranty does not cover:
- normal wear and tear
- damage caused by misuse
- shocks or improper handling.
Article 14 – Intellectual Property
All elements of the website www.atelierlilac.com are and remain the exclusive intellectual property of Atelier Lilac.
Any reproduction, exploitation or use, even partial, is strictly prohibited without prior authorization.
Article 15 – Personal Data
The information collected during orders is necessary for order processing and management.
The data can be processed via Shopify services.
In accordance with the GDPR, the Client has the right to access, rectify and delete their data.

Article 16 – Mediation
In accordance with the provisions of the Consumer Code, the Customer has the option of using a consumer mediator free of charge in the event of a dispute.
After first contacting Atelier Lilac in writing, the Client may then contact the following mediator:

Article 17 – Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the competent courts will be those of the jurisdiction of the registered office of Atelier Lilac.
Article 18 – Orders related to an event (wedding)
Atelier Lilac creations are frequently intended for specific events, particularly weddings.
It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that the manufacturing and delivery times are compatible with the date of their event.
When placing an order, the Customer is asked to anticipate the time required for handcrafted production and delivery.
Atelier Lilac cannot be held responsible for an order placed too close to the date of the event.
In case of special need or urgent order, the Customer is invited to contact the Atelier Lilac team before finalizing their order in order to study the feasibility.
Article 19 – Delivery delays beyond the control of Atelier Lilac
Delivery times are ensured by third-party carriers.
Atelier Lilac cannot be held responsible:
- delivery delays attributable to the carrier
- transport-related disruptions
- events beyond its control (strikes, weather conditions, logistical incidents, etc.)
In the event that a product is ordered for a specific event, the Customer is strongly advised to allow sufficient time before the date of the event.
No refund can be claimed for a delay attributable to the carrier.
Article 20 – Care of jewelry and accessories
Atelier Lilac creations are handcrafted using delicate materials such as beads, precious metals or decorative elements.
To preserve the quality and durability of the creations, it is recommended:
- to avoid all contact with water, perfumes and cosmetic products
- remove jewelry before any sporting or physical activity
- handle the accessories carefully
- to keep the creations in their case or pouch when they are not being worn
Improper use, lack of maintenance, or unsuitable handling can alter the appearance or durability of the creations.
These situations cannot be held against Atelier Lilac.
